   GUEST INFORMATION 

 

Guest Check-In times are from 14h00 - 18h30. - we do not have a 24 Hour Reception Facility

   

   We Meet & Greet each of our Guests, personally.  We do not leave keys for Guest Collection for a Self Check-In.

   We therefore require all Guests to contact the Staff Member, who's details you've been provided with in our 

   Pre-Check in Email.

 *  You are requested to contact the Staff Member on duty at least 24-48 Hours, prior to Check-In, and advise them 

    of Your anticipated time of Arrival at Bellingham.  We also ask that You keep in touch with that Staff  Member,

    should a delay occur, en-route to us.  The  contact details, of the Staff Member who will be Checking you in, will be

  provided to You, prior to Your Check-In date.

    Late arrivals who have not Previously made an Arrangement for a Late Check-In, may be charged a late Check-In        Fee and Security may not grant You access.

    We encourage Guests to Check-In with us before setting off on to Activities  or Functions they are attending

    in the Area, that way you can return,  at Your leisure.

 *  Where a Group booking has been made and the Guests of the Group are arriving at different times, it is the

     responsibility of the Booker to provide Bellingham with the Contact details of each Guest, in order that our 

     Check-In procedure can be communicated to them, together with the rest of the Important Guest Information

     contained therein.  It is also the responsibility of the Booker to ensure that each of their Guests has received and 

     understands the Information provided to them.

 *  The provision of an anticipated Arrival time is not only Important to us a Hosts awaiting Your Arrival, it is also                  Critical  for Security Access.  

Guest Information

*    Guests are Welcome to Check-In earlier, and leave their bags with us, until their Suite/Cottage is available.  We will

      complete the Registration of Your stay with us and show you where you will be staying and deliver Your bags to              Your  Suite/Cottage, once House-Keeping is complete.  This will allow you more time to enjoy our Valley or give

      You extra time to explore the various Places of Interest / Restaurants in the surrounding area.

*   All of our Accommodation is Self-Catering. 

    We provide our Guests with the following:

    A Complimentary Tea & Coffee Tray on Arrival.

    Linen, Towels and Swimming Towels, Hand Soap, Toilet Paper and Cleaning Products/Materials in each Unit.

    Guests requiring an Iron and Ironing Board or a Hairdryer - Please advise us on Check-in that either of these will be

    required and we will gladly assist You.

    Guests need to provide their own toiletries.

     Please note:  Being a Farm, we have Septic Tanks , therefore, only Single ply paper is provided and can be used.  NO  

     2 ply Paper is to be used - we ask this respectfully.

    Since we are situated in a Rural Area, we have Septic tanks and therefore only Single-Ply toilet paper can be used.

*  Camp Cots are available to Guests with Infants.  Please advise us at the time of Booking, and we will ensure a Camp

   Cot is available to You.  We provide a bottom sheet, please would you supply Your Baby's Bed Linen.

*  We are situated in a Rural Area and in Summer time, we do have Mozzies and Flies !  Mozzies are particularly active          over a 30-45 minute period around Sunset. They are endemic to the Season, and we are in Africa! 

    We are a Malaria-Free zone. We do however provide Insect Spray in our Suites/Cottages. We do recommend                    however, for your added Comfort, that You bring along either Peaceful Sleep, Tabard or similar.

*  For our Guests who are Flying in on Late Arrival Flights - we recommend that you stop at a Woolworths foods, at the      Airport and pick up some Refreshment and food supplies, until you are able to stock up Your Larder, at one of the           local Village Supermarkets.  Our Local Village Pick n Pay Family Store and Woolworths Foods, are open until 19h00 .

  *  We have a Communal BBQ Facility at the Swimming Pool and Original Guest Suite and Garden Cottage also have         Exclusive use BBQ's on their Patios.  Guests will need to provide Charcoal, Wood and Fire-lighters.

*  Each Suite/Cottage has Standing Fans available during Summer, some have overhead Fans.  Heaters are provided in the Winter.

*  Garden Cottage has a  Fireplace in the Living Room and the Main bedroom.  We provide Firewood for an initial Fire to

   be made, indoors, in Winter.

*  Ringwall Cottage - the Fireplace in the Main bedroom is NOT in use.

*  Each Suite and Cotttage has Paraffin Lanterns available, in case of Power Outages.  We too provide heaters and Fans for Summer and Winter months

*  Each Suite/ Cottage has Television with Open-View Channels.  We do not have DStv.  We will gladly recommend a              suitable Local Venue where You can watch a Sports Match.  Ringwall Cottage, does not have TV.

*   Once a Guest Booking is Confirmed, Each Adult Guest, 16 years and older,  will be requested to complete a COVID19 Health Form, and Provide details for their Guest Registration Form, these will be emailed back to us, together with a copy of  the ID, of each Adult Guest.

ID may be a Valid Passport, an ID Book, a Valid Drivers Licence or a Valid ID Card.  All ID submissions, MUST be clear.  If an ID Card or Drivers licence is submitted, please remember to send the Front AND the back of each Card.

CANCELLATION POLICY

​

*  If cancelling within 48 Hours of making Your Booking with us, Cancellation is Free.  Provided your Check-In date   does not fall within that 48 hour period.
*  If cancelling within 60 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit paid and 100% of the Total Booking Value is     due and Payable by the Guest, if Booking was not paid in full at the time of booking with us. 
* If cancelling 61 days or more, prior to Your Arrival, forfeit 50% of Your deposit paid.

*  If on account of COVID19 Local South African Travel restrictions being imposed, which prevent Inter-Provincial travel, Your Deposit will be held over, for a booking at a later date, when restrictions have been lifted.    

*No-Shows,  and Guests who leave during their Booking period may be Subject to payment of the Full Booking Value.
